Volunteers allow us to provide one on one support to men who are learning how to use phones, computers and navigate the community after serving decades in prison.

Our Program

We believe in the power of a new start.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to build a new life after returning to the community, find meaningful work, a home, develop new skills, and become active members of the community.

We utilize a team approach to support a successful transition home. We listen to program participants and build upon their strengths to develop the tools they need to realize their goals.

  • Our program is designed to empower participants to reach their full potential with support, skill building and access to resources.

  • We have a strong team of licensed therapists, re-entry counselors, substance abuse counselors and volunteers to support participant’s success.

  • Our staff includes certified substance abuse counselors (OMCP graduates) who have successfully returned to the community after serving life with the possibility of parole.

  • We are committed to achieving participant’s goals.

  • Our program offers individual counseling and three primary groups: Housing Group, Re-entry Success Strategies Group, and Healthy Living Group.

We need volunteers to support our work:

Current needs:

  • Co-facilitate Monday evening group 5 to 9 PM (experience needed)

  • Provide one on one tech support for our Tuesday group 3 to 6:30 (no experience needed).

  • Help with social media, electronic newsletters, etc.

  • Administrative support from filing to billing.

  • Fundraising support

  • Social media support

  • Developing resources for participants.
